In this interactive professional development session, educators will explore effective, compassionate, and proactive strategies to manage some of the most disruptive classroom behaviors: eloping, non-compliance, defiance, and classroom destruction. We’ll shift the lens from punishment to support, uncovering the underlying causes of these behaviors and building a toolbox of interventions grounded in trauma-informed care, behavioral science, and relationship-building. Educators will leave with real-world techniques, de-escalation strategies, and classroom systems that promote safety, structure, and connection — even in the toughest moments.
