This session equips 5th–8th grade teachers with practical strategies to help all students—including multilingual learners—access and engage with grade-level complex texts. Participants will explore approaches such as fluency-building, text engineering, background knowledge activation, and the use of layered texts and text sets to support comprehension without compromising rigor.
